If You would take the time to Decode your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) you can find what engine was installed at the factory. If someone replaced that engine, you might try identifying what you have by the # of bolts on the valve cover.

351M/400 same engine family. Do you have any Pick-N-Pull auto scrap yards in your area where you might go and get a set of covers. Also going online is just great when looking for something. You might try "What Vehicles did Ford put the 351M/ 400 engines in". Cap

 

thanks ill go to my local scrap yard and ask the owner if i can get some parts

 

actually this seller is selling me a 351m/400 for 350$ and its in better condition than mine currently so thats a bargain on my part
