Well I slammed my door shut and the striker post fell onto the ground. I sure don't want to have to cut a big hole and weld it back just to weld a nut into the inside of the hole to install a new post... but I dont know what choice I have.

Call me an idiot and let me know there is a Ford solution for this?

I should add in case you cant read it - its an 83 F150 XL with a 351, pretty much rust free, great body... again I hate to start hacking at that nice body.

 

Well I am an idiot, you can access from behind via the interior trim. Problem solved!
