Just installed some Precision weatherstrips on my door frame. The doors lack about a quarter inch of closing all the way now. Is there anything that can be done or has that now been a wasted expense?

Just heard back from Precision Rubber support. What they said goes along with your response. They suggested heating with a hair dryer and closing the door for about a day. They also suggested spraying the seal with silicone as it may partially be a dry seal issue.
