Just found this forum hey everyone .
A little back story i inherited my fathers 67 f1oo when he died. I had it ready to paint emblems were off of it when it was stolen so the emblems are all I have left of it. My question is would the 67 emblems look horrible on a 75 or would it be better left alone?

Not sure exactly what the 67 emblems look like BUT,, If it was my truck and all I had left to remember my fathers truck was the emblems, you can bet I would install them and be proud. If you like um, install um...Remember it is YOUR truck and like most of us, there are things on these trucks that have special meaning to us as owners. Just my .02 cents worth.
If you do decide to put them on, if they have the pins on the back and not screws, pick up some AUVECO # 3616 called J TYPE J NUTS (actually are little rubber bushing) that the emblem stabs into.

The F100 hood side emblems are 1967 ONLY! 1968/72 are different. The Ranger emblems were used 1967/72.

None are the same as 1975. 1973/76 are the same and have been reproduced by Dennis Carpenter.

Your tremendous knowledge is always very interesting and VERY useful.
Not to be tooo picky here but my reply was my opinion to the OP's question asking for opinions for the use of his fathers emblems on the truck he is fixing up not if they would fit for an authentic restorer project ,,,, surely he understands they are not the same.
