I have never been the sharpest pencell in the box but this truck is making me feel dumber every day. I had the oil pressure problem, got that fixed & put the engine back in the truck. I hooked up all the wires that had been disconnected to take the engine out. I crank the engine over & the engine is turning clockwise when standing in front of truck & looking to the back of the truck. I believe it should be turn counterclockwise . Any one have any ideas what I have wired up wrong.

Unless you have a starter from a boat motor then the starter is turning it the correct way (clockwise as you look at the front of the engine). The distributor should turn counter-clockwise.
