Can the TPMS sensors on my 2021 F250 be reprogrammed at a lower pressure setting. The recommended 75 psi on the rears is causing the tires to wear unevenly on my mostly likely loaded truck. I would also like the improved ride of tires inflated to lower pressure.

Is the 75 psi rears what ford recommends or is it max pressure on the tires?

I believe 65 psi is the trigger point for the rear tires, so you might be able to get away with lowering it 5 psi in the summer. I'd imagine you'd have less wiggle room in the winter if you live in colder climates since the cold tire pressure will drop more.

If you're familiar with Forscan, it can let you change the minimum on most Fords.

This is why Iasked what I did. My 2020 recommended pst by ford is 65 rears. The factory tires is 80 max cold. When hauling 5th wheel (2300 lbs pin, on scale) I run 70 cold rear. Basically no tire squat and tires are barely warm at 70 mph here in Florida. Not towing I drop to 60-65 cold. Any more and you cant ride in the thing!
Tires are Goodyear Wrangler. KEVLAR. 35.000 miles lots of wear left. I know they’ll go around 50,000 comfortably. Close to 10,000 miles have been hauling the 5th wheel.

Usually big differance between recommended MAX Cold psi on tires and recommended psi by ford
