Does anybody know what rating the rear springs on an F350 have? It's a '67, and has the single-leaf overload above the spring stack.

FYI:
I found a web page for a General Spring Co. in Kansas:

They don't show my exact springs, so I called them this morning to pick their brains. Really nice, very helpful Folks there. It's looking like the main springs I have are rated at 2400 lbs each, and the single-leaf overloads are rated at 550 lbs each.

Very interesting! Maybe I’ll call them. Don’t want to hi-jack your thread but the response isn’t exactly overwhelming! . I’ve been asking about “helper springs” but gave up! No one seemed to know what “helper springs” are when in fact I should of been asking about “overloads”. I have a 20 f-250 that has the frame drilled and threaded for “overloads” just like the F-350. I may give them a call, thanks again..

 

The newer F350's should be a lot more common in salvage yards. You might be able to find a set of factory overloads at a more reasonable price there. You'll probably need the u-bolts and spacers from the F350 as well. Hellwig makes a full line of what they call "Helper Springs" that may work for you as well. Years ago I ran a set of add-on Hellwigs that were adjustable, and added up to 2500 pounds of spring capacity. True bolt-on installation, only took a couple hours to install with hand tools. I have a set here waiting to go on the '67 if the factory springs are too tired to suit me.

Went on General spring page you posted, it appears they have exactly what I been looking for at what I call a reasonable price. Thank you sir....very helpful!! What I like about them is they'll look original and won't affect the empty ride one bit..

 

Glad you found what you were looking for! As you say, it's nice to have the spring capacity without the extra stiffness when empty.
