My 1977 f100 has the usual strong arm steering. I would like to find the parts to convert to power steering so my son would have an easier time driving it. As I understand it I will need a power steering gear box, pump, supply and return lines, mounting bracket for the pump, and a different steering column.
I am seeking advice on where to locate parts. I know some of them are available new but would love to find someone who might have all of what I need. My truck has the 300 6 cyl, 2wd, and manual transmission.

Please let me know if you have any advice or know where I could get the parts.

 

You do not need a complete column only the shaft that connects the Column to the PS Gearbox.
