    Hello everyone
    I have a 77 ford f100
    With a 460 engine and a C6 transmission
    I'm using 22" wheels
    Do I have to modify my deferential to run that set up?
    Some people says that the tran6will overheat
    What are my options?

    what is the overall diameter of the new wheels, and what is the diameter of the original wheels?

    22 " rim with tire is 28 1/2" ( new wheels)
    Original wheel and tire is 26 1/2"

    Hmm, that is a 2" difference in diameter. maybe put them on, drive your rig see how it feels.

    They told me that the wheels are to heavy and the transmission has to overwork.
    And it will overheat
