    Hi,

I’m new here, so greetings to everyone!

    I’ve got a 1968 Ford F100, 6 cylinder.

I was taking apart and replacing the thermostat housing and lost the bolts… ugh. I’m having a hard time finding replacements. What size, thread pitch are they? Get replacement at Ace hardware? Or somewhere else?

    thank you for your help!

I think they are 5/16” by 3/4” standard thread

for most bolts i hit up the local tractor supply ,just take a old one and match it. they give you a choice of grade 3' 5 and 8, they sell by the pound from bulk, another real good hardware supply is https://www.boltdepot.com/ great prices for sometimes hard to find plus the site offers tons of information about sizes and style

as to your thermostat housing must likely is 5/16 x 18 thread x 3/4 long
