Having that battery powered option along with an A/C power invertor certainly offers some options that don't exist on any of todays cars or trucks. Keeping the beer cold! Now that's playing to your market!

 

Truck suspension is better suited for the batteries anyway. Daughter has the fusion gas/electric thing and it's really rough on rear tires and rear shocks.

If the price isn't terrible, I can see plenty of folks wanting a pick up that offers a bit better fuel economy and the advantages a hybrid can offer.

Down side is the used market will suck as replacement batteries will likely cost more than the truck is worth, but at least it could still function as a gas motor if the computer doesn't disable it.
