Ford Phaser replacement.

    Has anyone had problems with phasers on the 2018 F-150 5.4 liter? If so, are aftermarket Phasers worth installing or should we buy the $358. (Each) Ford phasers?

    Last year for the 5.4 was 2008 for f 150
    2018 you can get 2.7. 3.3, 3.5, and 5.0 gas
    there is a 3.0 diesel
    For f 250 up gas is 6.2
    diesel is 6.7

    My 09 has a 5.4...

    I've been doing some research on the phasers, and you can do a phaser lockout kit fairly inexpensively, but you'll have to get your ecm reprogrammed.
