So I was driving the truck on the highway. Stopped for food and gas. Doesn’t start up anymore. Batteries are less then 6 months old. Connection have been checked and rechecked by two other people. I thought my starter was shot so I replaced it. Nothing still. The dash and radio have power. Everything lights up fine. But it won’t turn over. Not a sound is made. Thoughts? Ideas?

 

automatic or manual transmission?
if automatic, make sure it is either in neutral or park. wiggle the shifter when trying to start.
if manual, make sure the clutch is all the way pressed down to the floor.

 

It’s manual, I thought maybe it was human error as well, I started Triple pumping the clutch before turning the key, checked my master cylinder and had someone look at the slave in action as I pressed the clutch. Nothing there.

 

try jumping the clutch safety switch it should complete the circuit when the pedal is floored .also check the starter relay .make sure it has good solid ground to the mount plate . power across the big poles when the key is turned to start
