Hi everyone - looking for some help with my 2004 Lariat. I am in the midst of replacing all the parking brake cables but can't figure out how to disconnect the front parking brake cable from the parking brake control/foot pedal assembly in the cabin. I've removed the parking brake control assembly from the truck but am stuck on how to release the barrel connector on the cable from the brake control assembly. Anyone had to do this before?
