    2006 F250 Super Duty.
My SRS/Air Bag light started flashing (coede 42) Passenger front Impact Sensor. not in a crash of any kind.
I know that corrosion is the most likely cause, but i cannot find the sensor.
My truck was modified (before i bought it) Lifted and with an after market front bumper to hold a wench.
Every website I have looked at keeps talking about the sensor being either on the center support bracket in front of the radiator under the hood latch, i do not have a center support bracket, i think this is for f150 trucks.
and besides the code states the passenger side impact sensor (B2296 42 Restraint System Crash or Impact Sensor Status (Front Impact Severity Sensor Circuit Failure)

For anyone else who has this problem, the sensor is located under the Radiator centerline on the frame. Mine was hidden by the shroud flap and was disconnected.
