fuel pump

    hello, just got me a 1956 f250. it has a 239 v8 in it that i believe was out of a 1954 ford crestliner. it seems to be leaking where two pieces come together. i am having hard time finding a replacement as ive been told that year 239 does not interchange with other years. any suggestions for other fuel pump which may fit. i guess next option is to with electric pump???thanks david

    where WHAT two pieces come together.... block and pump, top and bottom of pump ??? picture would help

    i actually found a replacement- it is leaking between the two circular pieces where it looks like there is a flange.
    thanks anyway john- im sure ill have some more questions!!!
