    The new Tesla is out . My friend knows a few who have put down a deposit for the Tesla 3 .He said they are all living in a dream world . For example , how many places in your neighborhood could you get a refill ?
    In Hong Kong and Australia there are no gov't rebates -- and no Tesla sales !! Even in the biggest Tesla sales area , Norway , they realize in the long term it's costing the gov't $ so they are reducing the give aways !!
    :rolleyes::rolleyes:

    when you figure in the cost of electricity to recharge the battery pack, there is no savings in driving a Tesla or any other electric car.
    a buddy has a Coda. it has a bad battery. so he now has a $23,000 brick sitting in his driveway because you can no longer get parts for the coda.

    The price point on electric and hybrid cars already ensures its higher income people buying them, why do those making less have to help pay for it? It's a sugar tit!

    because the rich get richer by letting the lower wage earners pay for what the rich want.
    look at the government as an example. the poor pay while the rich play.

    No, I think you missed the point. It's all for the environment, to get rid of all the pollution. Just ask Al Gore and everyone else in politics.

    These rules are written by very rich people who don't have to follow the rules and are accustomed to spending other peoples money. They think it's better for us and the environment, so they make decisions that make little or no economic sense. Just look at Solyndra in a different industry as an example.

    I won't really say anything bad about other countries governments because we here in the US aren't smart enough to run all our crooked career politicians out of Washington so we can really start fixing things.
