I haven't been to this one, been to plenty of the F100 Supernational shows.

Did this one start out as a grudge against the Supernats, lol? I didn't care for the Supernats leaving Pigeon Forge.

This was the fourth year for this show. I dont know that I would say it was a grudge. The F100 Supernationals moved to a fall date leaving the traditional weekend AFTER Mother's day open. So a trucker came up with this one. It has been well received..

Ken, after the show changed hands the new owners moved it around and changed dates the attendance was hurt AND he opened up to cars and tractors which I think hurt also. I think he's finally settled in Sevierville now. Joe Carpenter got with Pat Ford several years ago and put this show together. You know Pat knows how to do it so with his mentoring they started off at the Music Row hotel back in Pigeon Forge with a pretty fair showing.. Moved it to the Leconte Center and it started to grow. Last year hurt some but this year came back like gang busters with over 700 registered (and I heard over 800 unofficially). It's well run with a good selection of vendors and sponsors . Good food vendors (except the food provided by the Center...yuch) and the crowds ( big crowds) all seemed to love it. Three host hotels with discounted rates. Beautiful weather helped also. It was a nice professionally run show. It's back to the good old days like years ago. BTW I'm sitting here with a SuperNats t-shirt on dated 1998. lots of good pics on the shows fb page and website if you're interested

There's a truck show coming up this month in Orange County, F100 Western Nationals. This show has been around for quite a while.

I attended the 2021 Grand Nationals in Pigeon Forge. Great time, any kind of Ford pickup, there was one there. Everyday drivers, rat types, beautiful show trucks, all ranges. Good friendly crowd, but not too crowded. $8 sausage hot dogs sold by a vendor on the lot were great also. Mid-May is a nice time for it, not cold but not too hot yet. A long ways from Montana, but worth the drive and planning to go again this May. The North-South F100 run in southern California would be a little closer for me, but it takes place in August, a lot of desert heat between me and there.

Just left Pigeon Forge this morning. Attended all 3 days of F100 Grand Nationals. Great show, about 844 total trucks registered. At least 100 or more of our 1953 thru 1956s. Everyday drivers to perfect show trucks and everything in between. Whatever color you want. Weather nice, bit warm and slight rain shower second afternoon. Went on the cruise and enjoyed it. My second time here. I cannot imagine anyplace else that one will see that many sharp 1920s thru 1980s Ford pickups in one place. I live in Montana, about a 1900 mile drive, I do other sightseeing on the way, trip worth it.Great friendly atmosphere at show, and Pigeon Forge has a ton of other things to do.
