I was looking for some interesting videos on Youtube and ran across some of the "Lock and Load" videos with R. Lee Ermey.

This video here is one seriously outright informative documentary by the Gunny, and I thought it deserved to be seen by anyone who had any interest in the development of modern firearms. But you can also add in any content to this thread that you feel is pertinent or important that you run across, whether you are a professional soldier or a hunter.

It is about 45 minutes in length, so grab a drink and some chow and find a comfortable chair to watch this in.

I can see parts of that vid that are not fully objective or quite fair - since a larger round will do more damage. The larger rounds being more of a specialists hard target hitter.

~Sure was entertaining though, even if some may consider such a thing to be a gristly sort of study. Those who use weapons like these either for sport or professionally however need and ought to understand them, and I hope this gives some of that understanding to those who will use it responsibly and correctly.
