For those who have been involved with the submarine service as I have , this will be interesting !

 

I had forgotten that there were a couple submarines in use during the Civil War.

 

ep! they were, one of the first tried sits in the city museum in paterson Nj.

 

There's another at the Confederate Museum in New Orleans.

 

Maybe a shaped charge would have saved the Hunley .
