    Hi,

I know this is brand new, but I think this area needs a dedicated Explorer and Aerostar section. The Aero is still my fav truck out of all the ones I ever owned... still have her, and she's an 89!

Also, have you thought about grouping by engine type as well? we all know the same 3.0L and 4.0L engines were used in many many Rangers, Exp, Aeros, etc...

Also, how about a large SUV area for Navs, Exp, Excursions, etc... and maybe even a Lincoln/Merc....

Ok, so I own 3 ford trucks... just wanted a home for all of them. Been over at FTE for years, but this seems like a nice new clean place :)

    Thanks much!

I was thinking real hard about Aerostars over the last year or two. I've heard they can be difficult to get at the engines in them, but there was a four wheel drive one around here (T-county TN) that I got fascinated by.

I always wanted a van, but with gas costing what it does now it killed my notions of a full sized one.

I pulled the engine twice on my son's Areostar wolfie. Not so bad.
it was a 3.0, so not too heavy, and went in out through the front just like the full size.
He got a lot of use out of that little truck

Bucking the trend.........Bronco IIs should NOT have their own forum............They are just TOO similar to Rangers of the same vintage to waste space on.

    I agree Dave

Besides, there are only 5 Bronco IIs left, and 3 of those are in a field in Arkansas.

So we might as well group them all together....

I don't know about where you are, but B2's are still plentiful here.
But, 2 big windows and a hatchback don't need a separate forum.

I see that many in one 1/2 of my commute.............no rust here.
Cars from the 70s still pretty common DDs out here.

I haven't seen a Bronco II here in LA LA Land in ages.

They are very prone to rusting, and with their short wheel base and high center of gravity, have a tendency to roll over...especially the 1987's as the factory installed and "service part replacement" draglinks were defective. :grumpy:

Jockey Willie Shoemaker was driving home from a party in his 1987, it rolled over when he rounded a corner. After this occurred, he was a paraplegic for the rest of his life.

FoMoCo paid him millions 'under the table' to shut him up.
