Humming noise on 2007 Expedition EL

    I have a 2007 Expedition EL and started hearing an intermittent hum from my passenger front area when pushing the accelerator slightly at anywhere from 30-60mph. When I let off the gas it stops or if I push the gas more to accelerate it stops. I have all new tires, brakes, bearings, and alignment and haven't solved the issue.

    4 wheel drive or 2 wheel drive Expedition?

    Probably hub actuator

    put the truck in 4h drive forward about 15 feet
    put the truck in 2 h

    Drive forward at some speed to see if noise persists. don't back up
    If noise is gone, it's the actuators

    They are a vacuum control that locks/unlocks the hub
