Tunnel Wedge medium riser used on 390, 427 and 428. They sell for north of $1100, much more if you're not in a hurry, get lucky and find a buyer who is in a hurry! It's considered a super-street or race manifold, good for mid to high RPM power.

Is that a factory intake? My guess is that it's for the 427 if factory option? Never heard of a 428 with dual quads. Could that also fit a 352 and 360?

C8AX-9424-A .. 8V Intake Manifold - see parts catalog pic (3rd line) for description. Be aware there were no 406's after 1964.

i know it was on a 427 a buddy had in a 57 chevy named fomoco that ran in nj, ,
seems to be a rare part as not much above it is out there. http://www.mustangtek.com/Intake/C8AX-9424-A.html

i'm heading out shortly to way upstate ny for the big car show swap meet ,hope someone up there knows more since i have found a few old listings on ebay that asked for $3.000 of the item

I've seen them for about $2000 if it's in great condition, not been ported or modified in any way, missing nothing, and you're not in a hurry to unload it. And that was over 15 years ago when I paid attention to the FE market. So $3000 to the right buyer for the right condition intake, might be possible.

what is worth even more than those manifolds is the stock cast iron headers used on the 427. the cheapest i ever saw for a set in good condition was $3000 and that was back in 2010..

well we took a buddy's 172 bird up to the show, rather than drive 4 hours each way, hour and half by air + 1/2 hour in a rental car , from what i did find ,it's it's worth 3k for sure he stated it's very rare part ,also found the tripower one is worth near 2.5 k
