I bought this 69 f100 with a 72 front clip but just wondering if anyone can see anything else that might be useful. When I checked the vin it says its an f250.

Hi Luke135. Welcome to FTZ! That's a NICE truck you have there, I Like it. Pictures say it is definitely NOT a F-250. SO, two things to check for identifying. Apparently you have paperwork with a VIN #. Look at the drivers door or door jam for a sticker or metal tag with info about the truck and see if it jives with your paper work. Next on the TOP of the frame behind the right front wheel look for the VIN #. You will probably have to wire brush extensively to clean and find it. That is the VIN of that chassis when built. See how it jives with the other #'s. Let us know what you find. If the #'s differ, post them here and someone will decipher them and tell you what each was.

The 5 lug wheels give it away as not being an F-250 I believe. Looks like maybe someone was using it as a "race car". What engine is in it? :copdriving:
