Looking for new springs 1972 f100

    Howdy, my grandpa gave me a 1972 f100 with the motor in pieces, I've been getting her put back together and I'm nearly done but I've got three springs I'm not sure about, I think one is for the throttle return but I can't find any info on it, I'm not sure what the other two go to, the motor is a 390, if anyone knows where I can order some replacements please let me know. 20161030_143728.jpg #ad

    They should have spring kits for pretty much every major brand of carb at any auto parts store. I bought a generic variety pack for my 67 back when it was having issues with the throttle plate wanting to stick.

    The serial number is the last 6 digits of the VIN

    C8TZ-9737-H .. Accelerator Pedal Retracting Spring / 17 coils - 5.44" long - .75" O.D. / Obsolete

    1968/71 F100/350 360/390 / 1972 F100/350 360/390 before serial number P20,001.

    No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

    Take Ken's suggestion, try NAPA or other auto parts stores.
