I have finished the engine rebuild on my 2001 f150 5.4L 2v Triton, and breakin procedure it preformed great, not one hitch. Changed oil and filter after breakin. New exhaust manifolds, oil pump, heads were gone through, and all new timing chain components.
Now I have developed a knock after the AC compressor installation. What the heck? I don't have a unit that will find trouble codes thrown to ECM.
I checked camshaft and crankshaft sensors they were good. I said all this too ask if anyone had any ideas on why it ran great through break in + 3days and then developed this knock. Knocks worse at regular idle, but not at starting and high idle. No loss of power, no stalling, All thoughts and guidence will be greatly appreciated! I'm lost until I gather fault codes if any.

It show good on dash gauge. Trying to figure out a way to guage. Would low oil pressure corrupt camshaft sensor signals to ECM?
