It started life as a F250 but I wanted to make it more highway friendly and have a better selection of gears so I converted it to a 1/2 ton,it now has disc brakes and front and rear swaybars.

Nice. Disc brakes all the way around or just on the front?

Disc brakes on the front only, might put them on the rear in the future.

Okay, was just wondering. I did a disc swap from a 73-79 on my 67 way back in the day, front swaps are pretty common (and a great mod). If I recall you use Lincoln axles for rear discs but it's been so long since I researched it that I may be wrong on that.

1977/80 Lincoln Versailles and Granada/Monarch with 9" rear axles have rear disc brakes, but the bolt circle pattern is 5 lug x 4 1/2."

There are aftermarket kits you can get to upgrade to rear discs .
