Name that rearend

    A 49 if it's the original axle should have a Dana 41. The 44 didn't come until later into the 1950 model production period. If it's anything like the 44, 60 and 70, it should have the number cast in the ribs.

    Yeah. Its not always on the same rib, but Dana's will usually have the type cast into one of them.
