I am just starting to work on a 52 F1 that belonged to my wife’s grandpa. How do you remove the hood for better engine access? I see 3 bolt heads that go through under the dash from the body side of each hinge. Are there more bolts or is there anyway to remove hood from hinges leaving hinge mounted to firewall? Any suggestions are appreciated.

 

Ken, I took mine off 25 years ago and never put it back on... in fact I sent it to Norway...memory a little fuzzy there
