Just joined the zone. I am currently a year and half into a partial frame off restoration of a 67 F100
Lots of metal work being done, cab and bed floors, bed rear side panels, p/a inner fender and more will be revealed along the way.
Engine is a early 70s 302 with C4 transmission , power brakes and steering wihich all were added before my ownership
Have done a lot of work so far and a long way to go soI look forward to advice and knowledge of the forum

The last pic of the assembled truck is where I started
Getting ready to pull the engine and transmission to update them, then complete overhaul of front suspension and add front disc brakes. Complete cleaning and painting frame and replace cab bushings along with finish getting cab ready for the paint shop.

Thanks for the share! Your head to toe into it for sure. Old man sometimes don't understand, The last picture was before you started doing all the work you've shown???

Yes that was before I started. It was a good 50ft truck but lots of work to be done when you get close
I started with a 65 that I acquired, that was a 25ft truck that had been put on a crown Vic chassis It needed way to much work for me, and I wanted to be closer to original. So I was able to trade it for the 67

No Super favorite Ford Truck ( from 79 and older ) but, I'd have a short wheel base for my every day ride around town. Don't see a lot of candidates in rusty old New England. Your 67 will be awesome when your done!

Your view attachment would not open, maybe I'm the problem.

My 67 is finally ready to go to the painter.

Truck is finally gone to the painter after several delays from the shop I was planning to use. I found a new shop and struck a deal. Hopefully in a month I will have it back and start reassembling
Meanwhile lots of parts to be cleaned and painted, along with going through the engine and transmission
Maybe by fall I will be cruising

Thanks for the update and keeping us in the loop. My 66 is apart into it's Second "Preservation". After some of the fantastic work by members here, I can't justifyingly call it a "Restoration". I will start a thread on it and share. Cap

Well just left body shop where my 67 is being painted.
He is doing a tremendous amount of surface prep and dent repair. Plans to block it this week in final prep for sanding with 800 before paint next weekend.
I’ve been busy on my end preparing everything to go back on core support, inner fenders, engine, transmission rebuild, and polishing the grill and assorted pieces.
I think I’m ready to start reassemble when it gets back
