Alright, this question is one of “is it even possibly a quirk, or is there someone effing with me.

I leave work the other day (I work at Marana Aerospace Solutions Whitehead is about a 30 minute drive by highway or a 45 minute drive by backroads. Backroads are significantly bumpier and holier than the high way. However my truck isn’t ready for 90 mph. With that said...

When I drove home on Monday, I noticed a very rapid, light, clicking coming from my front hubs. I wasEXTREMELY tired and didn’t take time to even look at them, so the next day I took my wife’s Crown Victoria to work. I just went outside to check a few things to answer the question of “what’s clicking”? Each of my manual locking hubs had been turned about 1/3 of the way from “free” to “lock”. What are the chances that the hubs, due to age and road conditions, could’ve turned themselves? OR... Is some little prick at work screwing with me??

    Opinions please. 1984 F-150xlt 4wd
