Hello from Houston. Old truck guy here. Recently bought a ‘56 F-100 that had literally been sitting in a barn for several years. Previous owner put a lot of work into it and lost interest. The body was transplanted onto a 1979 F-150 with a 400 and C6. They did a pretty decent job but it needs finishing and a lot of adjustments, but it runs and drives. I’ve also got a 1965 F-100 transplanted onto a 1978 3/4 ton 4x4 chassis with the 400 & C6. It’s a project. I’ve got too many projects. At any rate look forward to comparing notes.
    Thanks,
    Dave

Nice looking truck, Dave. That looks like a really good frame swap. Proportions look right. Sweet!!

Thanks. He did a pretty good job I think. Obviously put a lot of work into it, but lost interest before he finished. Fortunately he did all the major work. It needs a lot of fine tuning and final adjustments but all in all it’s not bad.
