I just achieved a lifelong dream of owning a beautiful 56 Big Window F100 and could use some recommendations from the seasoned veterans. My truck is nicely restored and I have identified a few small projects to tighten it up a bit. Both door windows are tough to roll up and down and I would like to replace the window hardware in each one. While I'm at it, the door locks don't work. The locks turn, but I'm assuming the internal hardware needs to be replaced. Could I please get some recommendations on where to find the parts I'm looking for?

    Thank you!

welcome Tony, also check with Mid 50... they got it all.... they are on corona hours, so call them and ask for a catalog Midfifty.com is their site. They will also be at the GrandNationals f-100 show in Pigeon Forge in June 18-22 Since you're a new old truck owner you should check out that show also https://www.gnf100show.com/

Thank you, John! I'll check them out for sure. I heard about the Grand Nationals show and was thinking about going if it doesn't get canceled. Fingers crossed!

Mid-Fifty has been around a long time and I've never heard anything negative about them.

I decided to go with a 351 and auto transmission with a 9" read. when the shop tried to put the cab back on it would not fit. I had to order a 4" firewall replacement. HAs anyone else had a similar issue.

Hi KT. I'm sorry that I didn't see this until now. The wheels on my truck are Billet Specialties, but I don't know the model number as they were on the truck when I bought it. Wish I could offer more information.

Tony what part of the country are you in? I always like to recommend dealers that are close by. Obviously Mid 50s would be the default recommendation.
