Hello! I am having a very strange issue with the interior lighting in my 2011 6.2L F250 Crewcab; the map lights do not properly function.

The maplights and rear switch lights previously worked flawlessly, however after I changed my maplight bulbs, I cannot activate the rear switch lights, and clicking the front maplights doesn't work, I know it's not bad bulbs, because they activate properly when opening a door, or the driver's domelight switch is activated.

I have no other electrical problems, and I don't believe I have any bad fuses, I have already tested them, my only theory is that when I was changing my maplight bulbs I may have shorted something, but I can't see anything currently shorted, and I can't find a bad fuse.

I need help! Any advice would be very welcome!

Did you go from non-LED to LED bulbs? If they are LED, I've seen some which can cause issues but I'm not aware of it ever being with maplights. Worse case swap the bulbs back and see if the problem goes away, to rule them out 100%.

It ended up being Fuse #4 in the interior fusebox, I had swore I had checked that fuse, but that was all that the problem was! I just fixed it today.
