    That's good to know that we could be caught NOT in CONTROL. Best to keep the old ones running for as long as we can.

    That is my goal, I find it hard to believe that my wife's 2010 TSX is outdated by today's standards.

    I really dislike having to be made to sit in a car, depress the brake and push a button.

    In the olden days, with some vehicles, you would turn on the key and STEP on the start button.

    Or so I have heard. ;)

    The 53 F-100 had a key and a button to start it.

    My brother's '59 GMC pickup had the starter button the floor. It was quite challenging to start the truck on an incline, sometimes you used the Parking brake.

    I see a lot of the new cars have this feature making old stuff new again I guess.
