I have a 1997 OBS F250 HD Power Stroke that I need replacement door mount mirrors. I am learning that this year model came with 2 different swing style mirrors. The difference is the mounting brackets, one style both mounting flanges turn down and one style the mounting brackets one turns down and the other turn down. picture attached is what I am looking for.

Those came on the 87-91 trucks.
Only the custom 92-97 trucks got the old style mirrors

Rock auto has them

But, what the OP pictured is a "gypo" (auto parts store replacement) mirror.

Genuine Ford are called Low Mount "Swing-Lock" Mirrors, which are operated by a round device located between the upper bracket and arm. The pictured mirror doesn't have it.

Pull the mirrors all the way back, or push the mirrors all the way forward. Then when they are returned to their original positions, they lock in place.

Genuine Ford: The mirror heads are also available by themselves.

This is a stock mirror from that era
