Just installed new parking brake cables on my 95 and there was not adjuster so is it self adjusting.

Went through that on my 96 a year ago. From something like 1992(?) on it was an "auto tensioned system". The tension is maintained by a clock spring and cam built into the parking brake pedal assembly.

You also have to keep the drum brakes adjusted. Both are supposed to be "automatic", but do require a little help from time to time

The adjuster is inside the brake drum. If they work, and you have some emergency brake pedal to spare, then you're good.

I had a 92 and another 95 years ago but never got into the parking brake since it worked good on those trucks.
