My shop trick that makes things a breeze, is to have one of my minions do it for me while I BS with my boss.

Only tip/trick I can think of now is, if you every have a stain on concrete weight it is oil fuel,or someone other liquid. A propane weed Burner will pull the stain right out in a matter of seconds . Of course move all combustible items away from the area you are working on.

I just got my shop set up. First time I've had concrete to work on in a couple of decades. When you say propane torch, do you mean the little soldering bottle torches or the big weed burner torches? Does this work for both old and new stains? Do you see the stain come up or does it dissipate later? Seems like if you put too much heat on concrete it will begin to pop and spawl on you.

Needless to say I've already got some stains so I'm interested.

Be careful heating concrete with a torch, you can make the top layer pop off, if there is an air pocket under the aggregate

That's how I learned the trick. I used to do pacers and block retaining walls. One of our skid steers used to leak a little diesel so we always pulled out the weed burner.

do your power windows go down fast half way and then real slow the rest of the way down??
    here is a simple fix.
open the window, and spray a healthy dose of either silicone spray, or penetrating oil down the felt tracks front and rear.
the windows will then work fast all the way down, and all the way back up after 1 or 2 cycles.
