Sound System Harness Compatibility

    Does anyone know if the connectors for the sound/navigation system on the 2009 - 2014 are compatible with the 2004-2008?

    Ken, they seem to change them every few years. The sound system that I had in my 01 SD would not just "plug and play" in my 05 Vic even though the mounts were the same.

    I've been doing some research in the meantime. Expedition and Superduty aftermarket units through 2014 will work in a 2004-2008 F150, not yet sure about OEM units. 2009+ F150 won't. Mustang Shaker units from the same era will work as well.
