Hi guys, I just bought a '06 F 250 plow truck from a local town. It doesn't have a spare tire/wheel. I am wondering if any old 8 lug wheel will fit on the truck- fit over the disc brakes etc... I know back in the day a 8 lug wheel would fit a Dodge, Ford, Chevy they were the same. Also If anyone has a wheel/old tire for this truck in Michigan I would be interested in buying it. Thanks Greg. no.
pre 97 was 8X6.5 bolt pattern, 99 and newer is 8X170MM bolt pattern. and they are not interchangeable.
you will need a 99 or newer wheel, in the proper size to fit your truck. 06 could be either 16 , 17 , or 18 inch.
but seeing as it is a single cab XL truck with steel rims, it most likely has 16 inch wheels.

Thanks 1970, I'll look for '99 on up. I think the wheels on on it are 17x7.5.
