stock tires for 1961 F250 4x4 stepside

    Just bought a 1961 F250 4x4 stepside...pictures coming soon....but was wondering if pizza cutters were stock on these trucks. want to go back to factory and having a hard time getting tire and rim info.

    Welcome to FTZ, Nice truck, Nice find, Seriously! On tires could have been 6.50-16 to 750.16, 17.5" tubeless tires. Now this is a stretch, but if original seat, look behind back rest to see if a line set ticket is in amongst the springs, that would be all in truck when built. Next, the VIN # can be decoded to major components of the truck, not sure of tire size being in it. Look online about decoding. Let us know how you make out. Cap. P.S. I spy A C, components, interesting about if was available as an option back then.

    yeah....pretty sure the AC was an Arizona aftermarket....just from the vents inside the cab. thanks for the reply. any piece of info id GREATLY appreciated. finishing a bass boat project before the heat shuts us down for 6-7 months. will be working on the truck during boat downtime. will post pics as i go along. Thanks again.
