The most outrageous street machines you have ever heard of - post the vids here

Why do we build insane machinery?

    Because WE LIKE IT!

It's a really cool car, but I have a hard time calling it a street machine. There's been a lot of debate about this sort of thing in the past on various forums, including www.theturboforums.com and www.superchargerforums.com - what constitutes a street machine. To some, if it has the lighting, license plating and other street legal requirements, it's a street machine.

I fall into the other camp... if you're running slicks, can't drive the car cross country without issues like overheating, changing tires during the trip, can't use a normal gas station for your fuel, etc.... it's not a street machine, it's a track machine that can hit the streets for very short periods of time.

It's a radical car, either way, and I like it!

I'm surprised that thing is even legal on the street.

I'm not a MOPAR fan by any stretch, but that thing amazed me. One of the things I like about it's look is the way the rolled pan under the doors adds a wedge shape that works out perfect.

    ~It's just absolutely beautifully crafted.

My very first car was a 65 Plymouth Valiant
    That's a 63
    I put a 340 6 pack in mine with a slap stick 4 spd.
    It would rock and roll!!!

I bet it would, those 340's were hot

This one is absolutely and totally cracked - only a complete REDNECK would build one of these:

~ Now I wanna see a cutting deck under it!!!

If I had a spare V8 the last thing I would do with it is put it in a lawn mower.

How scary is that one Charlie, How does the suspension hold the weight of that motor?

There is something bizarrely fascinating about the idea of an engine and transmission with a seat bolted onto it, and not much else except four wheels...
