F150 1990 with a toggle switch start. Sometimes the truck won't start. I fool with the toggles , on and off and then it usually starts. Lately, it's been happening more and more. The mechanic wants to put either new toggle switches in or replace the steering column. Someone thought it's the wiring, something loose. The fuse for the brake lights just had to be replaced not sure if that is a symptom of something going on?

welcome ot FTZ. without knowing what was done to put the toggle switches in, and how it was done, there is no real way to diagnose it without going point to point with the wiring.
