I recently converted my 86 f150 EFI standard 2 wheel automatic transmission truck to a carburetor. I need adjusted carburetor but the damn thing won't stay running when I shift it out of park and it will not shift of its own accord.I have to shift through the column and farther the gas to keep it running. It has the vacuum line from the carburetor hooked up to the transmission as it should my kickdown cable the end clip broke during conversion but I was told that I don't need it for say unless I want to have to use my passing gear. My question is what can I do to get this thing running right for me and shifting out cleanly?
