Just starting to work on ‘52 F1 which has sit in barn for about 10 years. Starting by changing all fluids and fuel system. Does anyone have suggestions on how to flush some cleaning solvent through 4 speed manual transmission and rear end before I replace gear oil? I can’t seem to find in my repair manual what weight of gear oil but I would guess 80. If info on that or other things I might need to do, don’t hesitate to suggest. Not planning on removing transmission. Planning to just replace gaskets on inspection plates and of course the oil pan. Thanks for any suggestions.
