Solved Truck bed

    How do I find out what size bed my truck came with I bought a 99 f350 and it has a tool bed on it..the guy I bought it from said he had it put on as he had a roofing company but he can't remember what bed length it had on it before..any help would be appreciated thanks

    measure the existing box.
    most likely 8 food it it was a pickup bed on it.

    Somebody put a extended tool bed on it and welded a extension on it it want be hard to remove but just not sure how to find out exactly what size bed was on it...want to get rid of this big homemade bed and put a OEM bed on it so I can get it painted

    post the VIN. i can look it up and see wheelbase, that will tell what size bed it came with.
