Truck wants to stall

    I own a 2008 F150. 5.4. Truck runs great , idles great. But once it is hot, when I come to a stop and try to feather the throttle to inch ahead a little, it starts to chug, miss fire, try's to stall. If i do a similar stop and do a normal acceleration, no problem. There are no codes generated or engines lights. What's going on?????

    Does it feel like just 1-2 misfiring, or all of them?

    Hard to tell, when it happens I put in neutral rev it up, it straightens out

    Sounds like some bad coil packs.
    I had a similar problem with my 03 5.4
