Hi guys! New here, and I have an 2002 Ford F-250 Powerstroke Diesel 7.3. I’m having some problems, and can’t for the life of me figure out why my truck won’t start. I’ve tested the solenoid. Checks out fine. Changed the starter, still won’t start. I’m a bit confused about the neutral safety switch. I’ve been told if it’s out of line, it will not sent any power to the solenoid, but I’ve already tested it and it’s working. Checked both batteries, they’re fine.


When I try to start the truck, I just get a single click. Any ideas or suggestions? Thoughts or comments? Thanks in advance!

 

my 02 is doing the same thing. there is a problem in the trucks electrical system due to the windshield leaking.
i have not been able to get under it to put a wire from the solenoid up to the battery to try to bypass the ignition circuit and get it into the shop to figure it out yet.
