I don't get it. What is it with these "earthy" pastel colors on cars and trucks these days? They look like mud, clay, various shades of dirt, and frankly look like ass. They remind me of bad rattle can paint jobs, by someone who bought the cheapest color on the shelf.

    Thoughts?

been wondering the same around me, who at the manufacture's are making such color choices? and why do dealers take them into floor plans for sale,

I had wondered if they'd be able to sell them there weren't shortages, but people actually ordering the colors.

They call them names like "stone grey", but I think it would be more accurate with names like
    Baseball clay
    Chalk board
    Dried dog poop
    Concrete sidewalk
    Cremated mother-in-law

Guess we’ve all been wondering what has been going on in the design shops.
It’s not just cars either. Lance RV’s changed the interior options out on their TC’s & TT’s. Glad we got ours when we did. With the new colors, I really do believe I can find more excitement by looking in my garbage can.
