Hey guys, so I have a 1997 Ford F700 box truck at work and I have to replace the shift lever housing thing on it cause a piece of it broke off. The issue is that I can't get it to com off the steering shaft and need help figuring it out and also what year is this steering column? It looks like an 80s column but I can't tell. I've taken tumbler out, the bolt on the bottom out, all the screws and I can't find anything that is holding it in except the bearing because it looks like the shaft has a step down where the bearing is sitting, and when I try to pull it off it just hits the step on the shaft 20200214_160330.jpg #ad

80,s style column. I have an exploded view at work. I think there is a lock ring you need to remove. A circle ring .
